The story behind siya.

Who is siya ndzimande?

The Foundation
I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon or a built-in corporate network. I was born into a South African township, where my path forward was shaped by my mother’s resilience.
She worked as a house cleaner for a remarkable family who didn’t just employ her, they showed up for us. They took me in, made sure I got through school, giving me more than an education. They gave me a front-row seat to the power of community, opportunity, and human connection.
Faith was a constant through it all. It grounded us, gave meaning to the struggle, and shaped how I see people, purpose, and possibility.
In 2019, I got married. In 2025, I became a father. Those milestones didn’t just change my personal life, they sharpened my perspective, strengthened my discipline, and gave everything I do a deeper sense of purpose.
My Professional journey
I went on to earn a postgraduate degree in corporate communications, driven by a simple realisation: every brand, like every person, is defined by its story.
Over the past decade, I’ve built and refined my playbook across multiple stages, starting in PR at Good News Lab (a small digital marketing agency), scaling internationally with The IRONMAN Group, and driving growth at eXp Realty.
Along the way, I’ve executed campaigns, managed high-stakes partnerships, and activated markets across 25+ countries in the EMEIA region. From local PR hustle to global brand strategy, I’ve seen what it takes to make people actually care.
Corporate Collaborations
Those roles put me in the room with some of the biggest names in the world. During my agency days, I drove the narrative for awesome companies like Continental, General Tire, SPAR, Cerebos Salt, and the property development and investment company Billion Group. When I stepped into the global arena of The IRONMAN Group, the stakes completely shifted. I wasn’t just managing campaigns and social media accounts; I was coordinating live event broadcasts, running the media center, and handling real-time crisis communications.

That meant managing high-stakes collaborations with international giants like Red Bull, Qatar Airways, Breitling, Isuzu and HOKA, while navigating top-tier media houses like BBC, Carte Blanche and News24. Throw in working shoulder-to-shoulder with municipalities, professional athletes and high-profile personalities, and you learn exactly how to protect and elevate a brand when the cameras are rolling and the pressure is on.
